Children 5-10 yrs

Sunday Mornings - Children’s Ministry  5-10 Years

During school term time, children aged five and over can leave their parents in church at the 9.45am Eucharist and take part in Children’s Ministry – activities which will help them grow in their Christian faith. Children's Ministry is on each week unless it is a "worship for all service" or a parade service.

Just Getting Involved

Children get involved with everything at St John's. Choir, Welcome Team, Serving team. Sometimes they even lead the whole service!! Come along and join in.

Our Sponsored Scout Group - 1st Old Malden (St John the Baptist)

1st Old Malden (St John the Baptist) Scout Group has served the young people in the ancient parish of Old Malden since 1950 and is an active, friendly, family Scout Group.

The Group is ‘sponsored’ by St John’s, so it is very much an integral part of the life and outreach of the parish.  We regularly recruit new Beavers, Cubs and Scouts – boys and girls aged 6 to 14.  We are always on the lookout for new leaders and helpers too.
